How long does it take to groom my dog?
We requests at least 4 hours, but sometimes it can take more or less than that. Upon check-in, leave a contact number and we will call you when your dog is ready. We do not want to keep your dog any longer than needed but sometimes additional care is required.
Do you offer pick up and/or delivery service?
Yes, but in within Sedona only. There is a fee for both pick up and delivery which will depend on the distance and circumstances. Typically the fee is $5 each way. If you live outside of Sedona, special arrangements can be made as we commute into and out of Sedona. Please give us a call to discuss the options.
Do you offer DayCare services?
Yes but only during business hours. Please give us a call to check our schedule
Grooming Questions:
Why Grooming is so Important?
1. Your dog looks much healthier and feels better.
2. A dog groomer may notice problems during the grooming that normally may not be noticed. Examples: lumps, cuts, thorns between paws, and other abnormal tenderness.
3. Expressing the anal glands. Some clients have issues with expressing their anals them self and if not caught in time full anal glands can become medical emergency's.
4. Groomers can advice you on any skin care and treatments that might be needed.
Why should you brush AND comb your pet regularly?
1. Makes your dog look fluffy and beautiful.
2. If you don't, your dogs hair will get matted which is uncomfortable for your pet.
3. Your dog will spend less time at the grooming salon.
4. Mats begin to collect dirt and other items such as fox tails or burrs. This could cause severe trauma to your pets which may require surgery to remove items that may become embedded in their skin.
Why should you get your dogs nails trimmed regularly?
1. Long nails when unchecked, will curve inwards (or under) and begin to grow into the pad (similar to an ingrown toe nail).
2. Long nails can break and expose the nerve to dirt, rocks and infections.
